Nevlin are a sapient species related to Rodents. Like rats, they have a short lifespan, large, close-knit families, and a diverse diet.
Nevlin often have immediate families ranging in size from 20 members to 40, and with extended families this balloons considerably. This is the main way they make up for their short lifespans.
Nevlin usually stand somewhere around 3'5 to 4'0, and have lifespans of 25-35 years on average.
Nevlin come in many different colourations, take a look at any rat or rodent and there’s a chance you could find a Nevlin with a similar coat. Hell, it’s rumoured that some Nevlin in faraway lands are even hairless, though most consider it an urban legend.
Nevlin are exceptionally resistant to illness and food sickness. Even rotting meat can be digested with no ill effects by them, which has helped them survive as a species.
