Guidfolk
Penniri Beninae
Penniri Beninae
Guidfolk are a slightly smaller sister species to Fairfolk, and are the furthest of their kind from their avian ancestry. They still do sport some of the features, but they share a lot of resemblance to Humans in many ways.
Guidfolk are also the more common of the two Fae species, and generally the more adaptable.
Guidfolk usually stand somewhere around 5'8 to 6'3, and have lifespans of 200-220 years on average.
Most Guidfolk do not have all that much plumage, with it usually being confined to the hair-like feathers on their head, and a bit of plumage around their collar. Some Guidfolk, irregardless of gender, get some feathers at the corners of their jaw or around their ears, something akin to facial hair or sideburns, though it's usually quite minimal.
Unlike Fairfolk, Guidfolk feathers are almost always in "boring" colours, shades like Brown, Black, White, or Gray.
Also unlike Fairfolk, Guidfolk do not have the Antler gene.
